Saturday evening included a celebration dinner at Epcot’s WorldShowPlace called “Mouseketeers & Memories” that spotlighted the work of #MMC30’s beneficiaries while reflecting on what it means to be coming home to where it all began.

“The Mickey Mouse Club cultivated a culture of diversity and inclusion long before it was brought to the forefront of corporate social responsibility. We are grateful to their organization for pioneering the message to our youth for so long, and also for supporting onePULSE in our effort to fight hate and promote acceptance.” – Barbara Poma, Executive Director, onePULSE Foundation

“We are truly honored to be a part of this special reunion of the Mickey Mouse Club. Wish children and their families who stay at Give Kids The World are visiting Central Florida with a wish to enjoy Walt Disney World and other Central Florida attractions. The joy that participants will bring to these precious families through their support of this event is immeasurable.” – Pamela Landwirth, President and CEO, Give Kids The World

Performances included a magical and inspiring song from Peter Pan by original 90s Mouseketeer Deedee Magno Hall, and a show-stopping performance of “Home” by Jennifer McGill – one of only 3 Mouseketeers to appear on all seven seasons of the show. Raquel ‘Roque’ Herring reflected on the 49 angels lost during the tragic events at PULSE nightclub and her own loss of her father while taping the Mickey Mouse Club. She then performed “I Miss You Like Crazy” over an in memoriam of the Mouse Club cast, crew, and parents that are no longer with us.  Mouseketeers Tony Lucca and Tasha Danner auctioned off their Mouse Club jackets worn on the show, and Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears donated VIP experiences each for the auction.

The main event at “Mouseketeers & Memories” was Lindsey Alley’s performance of “Blood, Sweat, and MousekeTEARS” – a one-woman show that takes the audience through her journey of being a Mouseketeer. Lindsey brought the house down with musical performances and rousing stories.

“Mouseketeers and Memories” culminated with a viewing of the Epcot fireworks show – Illuminations of Earth, followed by a 90s throwback after party featuring performance by Mouseketeers backed by the Epic Band doing songs they were most known for on the Mouse Club.

Chasen Hampton, Deedee Magno Hall, and Damon Pampolina performed The Party songs for the first time in over 20 years. Other performances included Tony Lucca, Nita Booth Young, Jennifer McGill, Dale Godboldo, Jason ‘Blain’ Carson, Tasha Danner, and EnVogue’s Rhona Bennett.

During the After Party, the Mouseketeers were gifted specially made #MMC30 Club Jackets by Seraph Designs, and Chasen Hampton and Dale Godboldo then joined in gifting Joey Fatone a jacket and making Joey an honorary Mouseketeer.  Joey then took the stage for an impromptu performance of “Mustang Sally.”

On Sunday morning, “Soul Sunday” took place from 9am to 12pm at the Hyatt Regency Orlando. Hosted by Rhona Bennett and Jennifer McGill, the event featured musical performances and talks on empowerment and spirituality, where Mousekteers shared their own personal stories with fans. Tony Lucca spoke of the power and importance of gratitude, Mylin Brooks Stoddard shared her personal journey through depression, Nita Booth Young and Raquel ‘Roque’ Herring shared their journeys toward God, Jason ‘Blain’ Carson and his wife Misty Carson spoke about their humanitarian efforts, and TJ Fantini shared his own personal journey.

Celebrations went well into the night on Sunday with a private reunion produced by Samantha Berger that brought together cast, families, and crew members from all seven seasons of The ‘All New’ Mickey Mouse Club, including those unable to attend the public events such as NSYNC’s JC Chasez and his family.

Our Always In The Club Foundation also flew out several kids and their parents from underserved communities to spend the weekend at Walt Disney World and to celebrate the 30th anniversary of The ‘All New’ Mickey Mouse Club with the Mouseketeers. These kids completed AITCF’s Project:NOW Service Learning program, and the trip was to show them that hard work leads to reward. These extraordinary kids had never traveled before, and AITCF wanted to help them take some first steps toward a wider view of the world.

We are so proud of their accomplishments and the work being done at Arvada K-8 in Denver. Very special thanks to Kristin Alexander, Richard Mahee, and James Dentley for making this happen. And thanks to Lisa Cannata for all of her help. To learn more about the program, visit www.AlwaysInTheClub.org.
