DGE works closely with the Arthur Wylie Foundation. Its mission: To help educate, create jobs and promote aspiring entrepreneurs.
Arthur Wylie believes in the “teach a person to fish” philosophy. While seeking a production home in Michigan, Arthur Wylie discovered the once thriving sector and backbone of the American economy had been devastated with substantial losses of jobs and deteriorating workforce talent, due to the decline of the automotive industry and the recession. However, retraining the workforce into other industries and creating entrepreneurs in new emerging markets is what has continued to make America one of the most resilient countries in the world.
The Arthur Wylie Foundation is managed by Cherokee Gives Back , Cherokee Investment Partners’ nonprofit arm, which assisted in the development of Brad Pitt’s initiatives in New Orleans.
